We should put him in jail, he might dent someone’s car.
Screw cycling laws and cycling lanes 2 metres long at the side of a canal walkway or in the MIDDLE of the road for 6 feet.
I ALWAYS cycle on the pavement because I don’t want to die by cycling in a BUS lane -hmmm let’s put the most vulnerable users of the road next to the largest, hardest thing on the road – a bus.
Holland has amazing cycle paths, with their own mini traffic lights. They also have the right of way all the time.

    Big deal. He flouts …
Big deal. He flouts the law routinely like most other cyclists. It’s not exactly warmongering is it? Make bikes have rear registration plates like motorbikes and fine them when they break the law, like all other road users.

It only shows that the city planners have failed to make London Bike-friendly. How otherwoise you can see everyone else breaking the same laws (including the camera-man)

    I agree, However …
I agree, However their is a case that it’s safer (if you are not putting yourself or other road users at risk) to go through a red light, how many times have you been cut up by waiting and cars make a left turn in front of you. That said I think David should wear a helmet.

  • jazzinholondon says:

    Typically a piece …
Typically a piece of propaganda which will make the intended victim better off. Most people could not care less about his breaking the law but will respect him for cycling to work.

  • pseudotruth says:

    Certainly not the …
Certainly not the way a cyclist should behave!

But at least he’s better than ‘two-Jags’ John Prescott!

The world would be better with more cyclists and fewer motor vehicles. Even if some break the rules.

I’m not advocating rule breaking, but being realistic, the consequences of a cyclist doing so are much less dangerous than is the case for a car or lorry!
